From early childhood I had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and wildlife. My earliest memories were of spending nights on the Colorado River, specifically Lake Mojave. My grandparents loved boat camping along these shores and I joined them on a few special occasions. Listening to coyotes howl under moonlight was unforgettable for a 10 year old.
My interest in photography began in high school with a basic class. Darkroom work and general picture taking techniques is what it encompassed. As time progressed I got opportunities to photograph landscapes and the occasional animal. Only in the past few years has my interest elevated. I now strive to travel and capture truly extraordinary images through my lens. My dream was to travel through East Africa and finally did so with my wife, Denise and mother, Tory. Regardless of my location I find myself searching for that next great photograph. Many evenings are spent driving through fields surrounding Davis, California hoping to get the shot I did not expect.
Enjoy my portfolio of images in the wild.
